About

Security warnings are usually written for security experts. Tater is built for everyone else.

Scams are fundamentally human manipulation problems — not IQ tests. Tater uses plain English, local analysis, and family accountability to help people make safer decisions.

Traditional security warnings are often too technical, too late, or too easy to ignore. Tater is designed around the moment of decision — when someone is about to click, reply, pay, or share something they should not.

Email analysis runs locally in the browser by default. Privacy is not a marketing line — it is how the product is built. Helping someone stay safe should not require reading their entire inbox.

Family accountability matters because scams work in isolation. Tater Family early access adds guardian visibility for the high-risk moments that actually need a second pair of eyes.

Why “Tater”?

Tater got his name from a real watchdog. Archie, known around the house as Tater, has one job: notice when something feels wrong and make sure the people he cares about know about it. That felt like the right name for a product built to do the same thing online.

Tater exists to help ordinary people slow down, understand risk, and ask for help before a suspicious message becomes an irreversible mistake.
